Welcome to Day 3 of our Two Week Beginner Friendly Workout Routine!

Today is a rest day, when you can take a break from the intense exercise of the past couple of days and let your body recover and heal. It is especially important for beginners who are just starting to exercise to give their bodies time to get used to the physical exertion.

Just because you’re taking a break from your active routine today doesn’t mean you can’t stay active. Take a leisurely walk, maybe stretch, or even just sit outside and enjoy the fresh air! Even light activity helps your muscles recover and can help cultivate a positive attitude towards exercise.

It’s also important to remember that rest days are just as important as active days when it comes to your workout routine. When you give your body a break, it allows the muscles to repair themselves and that’s how you build strength and endurance. This means that when you go back to working out, you are stronger and more likely to make progress in your fitness.

Finally, try to relax and enjoy your rest day. Maybe spend some time away from screens and go for a relaxing nature walk or grab a cup of coffee with a friend. It may seem like a simple thing, but it can help you further appreciate and enjoy your workouts when you come back to them.
